Unknown villages around the Etna

Mt Etna Volcano is one of the world's most active volcanoes.It has been erupting since several million years. Mt Etna is one of the greatest and beautiful volcano adventure tour destinations in Sicily. The Unknown villages around the Etna tour is a different way to explore our volcano and our Island. Starting from your place a drive to the northern side of our

volcano, We will first visit the Alcantara Gorges, with their wonderful waterfall created from an old lava eruption. We then continue the drive through Francavilla, stop at the most charming and unspoiled Sicilian village of Castiglione di Sicilia and take a walk to the old Greek fortress to admire an amazing spot with a breathtaking view over the Alcantara valley. We will continue through the Red wine-route, literally traversing the lava of 1981, passing through the village of Linguaglossa and heading to the well-known winery "Gambino" to tour the wonderful property and the wine cellar and of course have a taste of the unique tasteful Etna wines, accompanied by a selection of local Sicilian products (wine tasting included) - (tour duration 6 hours).
